Actors Mobile ADR™ 3.4.8

Actors Mobile ADR™ offers a convenient solution for actors to record their ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) in synchronization with video on their iPhone or iPad. This tool includes traditional features like beeps, wipe, preview, and playback of the recorded ADR.

The process involves the Editor sending encrypted videos to the Actor, who can then record their dialog in sync with the picture, mimicking a traditional ADR Recording Stage setup. Actors have the option to record using the built-in microphone or connect a Rode VideoMic Me-L; while headphones are recommended, they are not mandatory. If using the iPhone's built-in speaker, Actors Mobile ADR automatically mutes the guide track upon reaching the third ADR beep. The Actor can then listen to and choose preferred takes to send back to the Editor. The resulting ADR recordings are saved as Wav 24/48 files.

Actors Mobile ADR™ is available at no cost for actors to record their dialogues for the encrypted videos provided by the Editor, without requiring a subscription. Production Managers or Post Coordinators can also utilize this tool without charge to preview guide tracks or listen to previously recorded takes.

Editors are required to purchase an in-app subscription priced at $49.99 per year to import non-encrypted videos for transmission to actors. Payment is processed through the iTunes Account following confirmation of purchase. The subscription will renew automatically unless disabled at least 24 hours before the current period expires. Failure to do so will result in charges being made to the user's iTunes account for renewal within 24 hours of the current period ending. Users have full control over their subscription status and can manage or cancel it through their iTunes Account Settings whenever necessary.
